Criminals have again launched a cyber attack on computers in the Ukrain and Russia in the form of malware called the Bad Rabbit. The goal is to make money, exact revenge, political or just hacktivism. This attack hit business 
computers mainly in the Ukraine and Russia and demanded a ransom. The Hack dubbed the Bad Rabbit virus. Game of Thrones followers were enticed to click on a link that installs the virus on computers through Adobe Flash. The malware affected many businesses and caused work to stop.
So far the Bad Rabbit virus has not attacked any computers in North America. Most anti malware software have created including ones made by Kaspersky and Symantec have created flags to trap the virus. It is best to keep your antivirus software up to date and to run scans regularly.
Malware is part of the course in owning and using technology today. All users need to be vigilant in keeping their devices updated with the latest version of operating systems.
